Kempinski Adriatic 5* hotel was in need of modernising and enhancing its Wi-Fi communication solution to keep up with the advanced needs of its discerning guests.

Besides providing highest possible guest satisfaction, challenges were to provide full integration with existing hotel IT based systems and ensure staff are equipped with appropriate communication tools in order to provide excellent guest services.

The hotel communication system furthermore had to be implemented in a period May-June 2018, with high season already started and guests using hotel IT services.


Ruckus Networks authorized partner working in Adriatics area, company ProCodex d.o.o, was invited to participate and propose an advanced solution to meet all the requirements and provide high quality solution suitable to for the luxury hotel. Following their professional planning, the hotel is now equipped with the leading Ruckus redundant IT network and hotel Wi-Fi system.

To provide full coverage for Wi-Fi communications throughout the hotel areas and ensuring a high quality of performance, Ruckus wireless infrastructure was implemented. The communication system supports over 120 pcs. of access points model H510 for the guest rooms, 20 pcs. of access points for public area throughout the hotel, and around 10 pcs. of access points suitable for outdoor areas, like beach, pool, villas, restaurants and golf.

All the benefits of new Wi-Fi communications networks provided by Ruckus Networks, based on dual redundant SZ100 controllers and 150 access points throughout the entire hotel, are now proven every day by satisfied hotel guests and hotel employees.
