The Advisory Board for Best Stay event is a selective group of general managers, hotel directors and experts in the tourism industry, who are chosen specifically because of their expertise and experience in this space, with the goal to influence the shape of the Best Stay 2018 event by suggesting topics and speakers.

Mario OvsenjakGeneral Manager, Hotel Gotham
Mario joined Hotel Gotham having worked extensively across the Bespoke Hotels portfolio. Since 2012, he has led teams at a range of country house properties, including The Lambert Arms in Oxfordshire, Shaftesbury's Grosvenor Arms, as well as the Prince Regent Hotel. Prior to this, he held positions at several London establishments, including the Corus Hyde Park Hotel, The Royal Trafalgar and Piccadilly Hotels, as well as the Colonnade and Hotel Xenia.
Sophie ClarkeSocial Media Manager, Radisson Hotel Group
A digital native, Sophie has grown her career in the travel industry working across Europe, from Paris and Venice to Brussels and Rome. Starting her career on Starwood Hotels’ respected Vita Futura Management Program, she has gone from leading Starwood's Digital Marketing for The Luxury Collection in Southern Europe, to now leading Radisson Hotel Group's Social Media strategy from their HQ in Brussels.
Adam RowledgeGeneral Manager, Georgian House
Adam has been General Manager of Georgian House since September 2015. Starting his career at Hotel Du Vin in Henley-on-Thames in 2007, Adam then took the position of front of house manager at Hand Picked Hotels’ Nutfield Priory Hotel and Spa before moving to South Lodge Hotel in March 2011. Adam was General Manager at Bannatyne Spa Hotel in Hastings before joining Georgian House.
Outside of the hotel, Adam is a St. Julian Scholar, Guardian Member of industry charity Hospitality Action, Chair of the Sussex Branch of the Institute of Hospitality, member of Institute of Hospitality Supervisory Board, 2012 Acorn Award winner and 2017 British Travel & Hospitality Hall of Fame Young Manager of the Year.
Robert GasserGeneral Manager, Courtyard by Marriott Belgrade City Center
Robert started his career as Chef Apprentice in Munich and Allgaeu. Soon Robert moved to front of house, working in London as Bar Manager and Bermuda Island as Head Wine Steward. Next to school Robert founded his own consulting company which was sold successfully, travelling then for one year thru Australia and Thailand.
In 2013 Robert started with Marriott in Munich which brought him in different Executive positions over
Shanghai, Beijing, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Istanbul to Belgrade.
